How it actually works
Here’s the thing. Standard heaters just blow warm air around. That’s fine, but it doesn’t really “attack” the water. Our lamps use short-wave infrared. Keeping things safe
Water and electricity are a nightmare pairing. We know that. That’s why we use an IP44 rating. In plain English? It means the housing is sealed up tight. It can handle splashes from any direction without a problem. We use reinforced casings and heavy-duty gaskets so you don’t have to worry about the internals shorting out just because the room got a bit steamy.
A few things to keep in mind
Now, these lamps pack a punch. Because they create so much heat in a small area, they do put a bit of a load on your wiring. Just make sure your circuit breakers can handle the wattage. And a quick tip: don’t overdo the power if you don’t have a vent in the room, or you might get the ceiling void a bit too hot. One last thing. We built these to last, but the quartz glass is sensitive. Please, for the love of your bathroom,don’t use abrasive chemicalsto clean them. A soft cloth is all you need. If the glass gets cloudy, the light can’t get through, and the whole “drying out the room” part stops working. Keep it clear, and you’re good to go.
