Material & Design: Halogen, Coating, and Connectors
We use halogen-filled quartz tubes because they run hot and steady. The halogen cycle keeps the element clean from the inside, so you don’t lose output over time. The tube also has a reflective coating that pushes infrared energy forward. That means more usable radiant heat, and it protects nearby parts from getting hit with stray heat. For install, the R7s connector is just practical. It locks in quickly, handles high temperatures, and gives you a solid connection—mechanically and electrically.
