
What’s really under the hood
We built this electric heater to be a powerhouse in a small package. It runs on 400V and cranks out 2500W, so you get a lot of heat packed into a tight space. The tube is just 300mm long, which means all that wattage is focused right where you need it—perfect for spot heating when room is at a premium. Going with 400V also helps keep the current draw lower. That means less strain on your wiring and fewer worries about voltage dropping over distance. The materials that matter
Inside, the tube uses a halogen cycle inside a quartz envelope. This keeps the filament steady and stops the glass from blackening, so the output stays consistent over time. No fading. No fuss. A high-reflectance coating bounces infrared energy forward, pushing the heat right where you want it. And the connector? It’s an R7s, two-pin ceramic. It handles the heat with no problem, and swapping it in is a breeze. Just wire it up and clamp it down—simple.
Where it shines—and the real-world trade-offs
This setup was made for the shop floor. Think pre-heating molds, drying coatings, or keeping a process line warm. That 2500W density gives you fast response, which feels great when you’re on a deadline. But here’s the thing: it runs hot. So your machine needs proper cooling and clearance.
