Quartz vs. Ceramic: Which one actually works for your livestock?

Ceramic is slow. It relies on soaking up heat and then slowly letting it bleed out. The problem is, they take an eternity to warm up, and a lot of that heat just vanishes into the ceiling instead of actually helping the animals. Quartz is a different beast entirely.
Why quartz just makes more sense
